Mark Parker

Founder

Mark Parker is the founder and head coach of The P2 Method, a fitness and strength training studio in Ferndale, Michigan, built specifically for adults 35 and older who want to get stronger, lose body fat, rebuild muscle, and feel capable again.

With more than 16 years of experience in personal training, fitness coaching, gym ownership, and health and wellness, Mark has spent his career helping people turn fitness into something sustainable—not another short-term program they quit after a few weeks.

Before creating The P2 Method, Mark worked throughout the Metro Detroit fitness industry as a personal trainer, fitness manager, sales leader, and studio owner. His experience coaching real people through weight loss, strength development, lifestyle change, injuries, busy schedules, and the realities of getting older shaped the philosophy behind P2.

The P2 Method was created around one simple idea: your best years of fitness do not have to be behind you.

Mark specializes in strength training for adults over 35, muscle building, fat loss, functional fitness, small-group personal training, and sustainable fitness programming. His approach combines progressive strength training, conditioning, mobility, recovery, and practical nutrition habits to help clients improve how they look, move, perform, and feel.

Mark also works with adults navigating weight-loss medications such as GLP-1s, with an emphasis on preserving muscle through adequate protein, resistance training, recovery, and consistent movement.

Based in Ferndale and serving clients throughout Metro Detroit, The P2 Method provides personal training and small-group strength coaching for people who are ready to stop starting over and build a stronger next chapter.

For Mark, P2 represents exactly what the name suggests: Phase Two.

Not going backward. Not trying to become who you were at 25.

Rebuild. Refocus. Reinvent.
